My Path to Yoga

My Path to Yoga

My name is Anusha, and I am a qualified Yog Shikshak.

After a decade-long career in Financial Technology, I stepped away from the corporate world to deepen a practice that began as a weekly Vinyasa class.

What started as a pursuit of flexibility and stress relief evolved into a knowledgeable journey inward. While asanas are a vital gateway, I am deeply grateful to have moved beyond the physical to embrace a holistic understanding of Yog philosophy—a journey of self-discovery that I now share with my students.

I officially completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at Pragalbha Yoga studio in Bangalore. Under the profound guidance of Yoga Acharya Padmashree Jain, this journey has been a deep dive into the traditional roots of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. The rigorous and immersive training at Pragalbha Yoga provided me with more than just a certification; it offered a transformative experience in alignment, breathwork, anatomy, and the philosophy of a mindful practice. I am honored to carry forward the teachings and lineage of such an esteemed studio as a certified instructor.
